Host Jessica Koussevitzky was on hand for American Red Cross, Dine & Dock VIP Celebrity Auction and 2016 Humanitarian Awards. The night was a tremendous success raising over $125,000 dollars.
The American Red Cross Broward County Chapter hosted its annual Dine & Dock VIP Celebrity Auction and 2016 Humanitarian Awards on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at the Hyatt Pier 66. All proceeds raised from this event will assist the humanitarian organization in responding to local disasters, ranging from home fires that affect a single family to hurricanes that affect tens of thousands. The Red Cross provides shelter, food, and comfort to assist families and entire communities in their time of need.
Guests enjoyed delicious appetizers and fabulous cocktails at a networking reception on the patio overlooking the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway. Afterwards, they made their way into the gorgeous Panorama Room for an amazing interactive event experience that included food stations, lounge settings and several open bars. The highlight of the evening was honoring local humanitarians, followed by the high-energy powerhouse VIP Celebrity auction.
Some of the celebrities who will be auctioned off: former UM and FAU football coach Howard Schnellenberger; restaurateur Chef Louie Bossi; and Captain Lee Rosbach of BRAVO Network’s “Below Deck” series.
Those receiving a Humanitarian Award were: Bob Drinon, south region president of Breakthru Beverage; Debbie Banks-Snyder, an owner and VP of Lago Mar; and the Youngevity Be the Change Foundation along with its founders David and Sunshine Briskie.
