Guests enjoyed unique culinary offerings from chefs such as Tim Nickey who is the head chef at Kapow restaurant, a locals favorite located in Mizner Park. Also on hand for the event, Tucker Dukes. Known for their over sized burgers and American flair the crowds were deep to try to their tasty sampling of orange glazed baby back ribs.

Silent auction and “kissing booth” were all apart of this exciting evening. Funds raised through this amazing event directly supported the Junior League of Boa Raton’s Mission. When I caught up with President Kirsten Stanley at the FLAVORS event it felt great to see and interview her again. I first caught up with Kirsten at the Girls, Pearls, Hats, and Heels event where she was being honored just a few months ago. Kirsten is a leader in our community who’s focus is on three issues in our community with the Junior League: hunger, non-profit support and child welfare. Her ongoing battle with cancer and her unwillingness to go through her life while bringing as much light and attention to her platforms is inspiring. It was exciting to see this event is full swing for all involved and I personally was so happy for the team who pulled this event together with skill and grace. Kirsten stated, ” Flavors is guaranteed to be an exciting evening. Funds raised tonight at this event support the Junior League of Boca Raton’s mission and efforts in the focus areas of hunger, child welfare and non profit support”. The night was a success for all involved. The support from the community was tremendous and all benefited from the local FLAVORS. For more info about JLBR visit JLBR.org
