[/caption]Las Olas, Fort Lauderdale — Jackson Family & Yangarra winery were represented at the Las Olas Wine and Food Festival 2016 by winemaker and Manager Peter Fraser. Since its launch in 2001, Fraser has been the estates only winemaker. In addition to Yangarra, Peter has worked and consulted in wineries in Australia, Spain, France and the U.S. His wine making is well respected and taste-driven. “In the ten years I have worked with the Jackson Family, I have had nothing but admiration for their commitment to distinctive and historical vineyards,” Peter Fraser continues. “Jackson Family Wines has consistently worked to establish top-shelf estate wines that the customer can respect and trust.” Yangarra Estates specializes in Mediterranean variety wines. I was able to sample the Grenache. It was the best I have ever had. I also sampled the Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir & the Cabernet. All were enjoyable in the company of other wine and food lovers attending the sold out Las Olas Wine & Food Festival.
The festival is held on the open streets of Las Olas, Fort Lauderdale under lights & white tents. There are over 40 culinary stations all gathered to support the American Lung Association at the 21st Annual #LOWFF. This is a place where foodies and wine lovers meet to make their way through the street festival noshing on bites while sampling wines from all over the world . Yangarra Wines hosted the VIP wine event with honors in food going to CraveRum, Wild Sea Oyster Bar & Grille, Indigo, Chimney House, & Grille 401 Las Olas. 2016 was a sold out event and we look forward to seeing everyone next year!
